Howdy! Here's my bonafides: Know a little some about electronics but very little about machine shop stuff. I currently have a 30x40 shop (my barn) which is PHD at the moment. Inside there is an Atlas 618 lathe, a Smithy mill, a Millermatic 250, gas rig, chop saw, disc/belt sander, Smithy BX288 mill/drill, and a Rockwell 28-300 band saw and all kinds of yard maintenance machinery. The Smithy is sitting on a Harbor Freight stand that is wide enough but about 2" too short for the base of the mill. I've not lit the mill off yet as I need to anchor the whole thing to the concrete before I do and if anyone has any suggestions as to what size/type anchors to use, feel free to sling your advice at me. I've got some anchors but do not know if they are the type that will hold this behemoth if it starts to get underway. Look forward to carrying on with you. edj
